Wow... Its been 2 months almost since I posted!

I want to ba a blogger I am just horriable at it..... there is so much that goes in in our crazy lives and with my memory if I dont blog or write it down I wont remember what happen in a month.... (Lord help me get better at this!) It is almost Valentines day and can I just say that this yr Valentines day means more to me than ever before cause of Malachi.... I know I say that about everything but really he makes life so much fun and when I think of Valentines day I think of "LOVE" and he is a product of our Love for each other! that to me is just the neatest thing in the world!

So far this Year has been wonderful! I can believe we are already in the middle of feburary.... its going to be july before I know it! God has been blessing us right and left... sreiously everytime I turn around he is doing something else unexpected in our lives! Gosh I love being a christian and serving the Lord! My Abba Father is amazing! I am so in AWE of how much he loves me and spoils me! Not only meeting our needs but also tending to our wants....

I got the privilage of being with my little sister all day last friday at her school for the Mardi Grasi court and ball...I did her hair and makeup.... so much fun she looked absoutly beautiful! SHE WON QUEEN! everytime I get to spend any time with her it blesses me I miss her so much! She is such an amazing woman of God! She inspires and challenges me ...it was so neat to be around her and all her friends and teachers and hear all the things people say about her.... She has so much favor with God and MAN! Her teachers just adore her they were saying things like .... "You deserve to be queen cause you are so genunily nice to everyone..you make sure everyone feels accepted ... I hope and pray my daughter turns out just like you one day... your love for God and all that you do is amazing and no one deserves this more than you" ...SO cool to know these things about her but to hear them from her teachers! and the kids her PEERS.... just love her ....she is so blessed! I love that at such a young age (14) she is embracing her calling in life and living for God now and taking every challenge brought her way with such a great attitude. She seriously lives for God in the NOW! What if we all took our relationship with God that way and sought out oppritunities of how God can use me today! We can get so caught up in the past..."i remember when God...... " that we forget he is the same yesterday today and forever! he still can move like that now if your willing to open your spiritural eyes and let him! :)

Hello Everyone... its been about a month since I last posted..... the holidays are crazy for everyone but even more so when you pastor a church! I love it and wouldnt trade it for anything in the world... We are so blessed!!!

Thanksgiving was alot of fun we went to Lafayette and shared it with my brother and soon to be sister n law and her family..I got to take Michael and Liz's engagement pics had a blast!.. paul had plans for thanksgiving so we didnt see much of him but I cherish the few hours I did get to see him... Sherese came over to liz parents so it was nice to hang out with her too! then we go to meet some of my hubbys family (sisters) from his dads first marriage... That was neat we found out he is a great uncle...lol he has nieces and nephews older than him! lol look forward to getting to know them more!

Family is somthing that is so special to me! I love my family so much and love to spend time with them when ever we get the chance to!!

Christmas went by quick .... Malachi suprised us when he decided he didnt need help getting the wrapping paper off so he could eat it! lol .... it was so cute to watch him get excited and open his gifts! We have a family tradition to go see a movie on christmas so me edward and malachi went to see four christmases...it was cute that was Malachis 3rd movie... he loves the big screen..lol then the day after we saw marley and me..super cute!

I am really looking forward to 2009 and all the suprises instore! :) I love the beginning of a new yr!

A Thankgiving One

1. Which do you like better: Cooking at your house, or going elsewhere? I absoutly love to cook thanksgiving dinner.... Maybe next yr I can have everyone to my house!

2. Do you buy a fresh or frozen bird? Frozen... Never had a fresh one but that would cut out about 2 days of thawing time! lol

3. What kind of stuffing? bread stuffing cooked inside the turkey! Yummy! I cant stand cornbread stuffing Yuck! (THIS IS A PROBLEM CAUSE MY HUBBY ONLY LIKES CORNBREAD STUFFING)Defintally a southern thing cause I never even heard of cornbread stuffing till I moved to the south! :)

4. Sweet potato or pumpkin pie? Pumpkin Pie with vanilla ice cream! sweet patato is good to!

5. Do you believe that turkey leftovers are a curse, or the point of the whole thing? Defintally the whole point! I love me a turkey sandwich the next day! Oh I cant wait! I am not a huge left over fan but thanksgiving left overs are the best! Why do we only make this meal once a year? lol

6. Which side dish would provoke a riot if you left it off the menu? Sweet patatoes! or candied yams as I call them

7. Do you save the carcass to make soup or stock? NO yuck!

8. What do you wish you had that would make preparing Thanksgiving dinner easier? about 6 ovens and 3 stove tops! lol :)

9. Do you get up at the crack of dawn to have dinner ready in the early afternoon, or do you eat at your normal dinner hour? Crack of dawn turkey goes in the oven at 5am unless we are deep frying it...then we can sleep in late! lol

10. If you go to somebody else's house, what's your favorite dish to bring? Candied Yams, or Green Bean Cassarole, or Cheesy broccoli cassorole

11. What do you wish one of your guests wouldn't bring to your house? fruit cake..who really eats them? lol

12. Does your usual mix of guests result in drama, or is it a group you're happy to see? DRAMA...

13. What's your absolute favorite thing on the menu? I like the whole plate all together but I would probally throw a fit with out candied yams! lol

14. What are you thankful for this year? I have so much to be thankful for this year...God is so good to me! Most of all my healthy baby boy, A husband who loves me unconditionally, a wonderful church that we are pastoring, Friends that are like family...(wish you all lived closer), I could go on forever I truly am so blessed! THANK YOU JESUS!

What a beautiful day!
November 16th 2009.... Malachi was dedicated this morning by Pastor Tommy Carpenter! What a blessing he truly blessed us! He gave me a dozen red roses and said that a mothers love is as sweet as a bundle of red roses and the red representing the blood of Jesus who is the whole reason we have this miracle child! And also gave us a baby blue bible for Malachi with his name on it....
This was such a honor, I cried because like the bible says for this child I have prayed! And I can honestly say that before he was even concieved he was loved and wanted and prayed for!! I am just so blessed to have him and everyday is a reminder of how amazing Gods love is to us!

We decided long before he was in our lives that we will raise our children to love and serve God with all there hearts! and I am so honored to be able to do that! being Malachis mom is the most amazing privilage God has given me!

I love you Baby!

Beautiful Day

It was such a beautiful Fall day today I took Malachi outside for some Fall Pictures! I love the way they turned out! I love this time of year the way the air feels crisp and all the bright colors and I love my yard full of leaves...I know most people rake them I love to leave them all over the yead...although I am dying to rake them into a pile and put Malachi in the pile for a pic! lol ... I just think God is the most amazing artist! Hope you have a wonderful day in the Lord! Remember to Thank Him for all you have and all he has done in your life for with out him we are nothing!

I am so excited to share this post with who ever wants to read it...lol... Last night a group of 16 went to Hell House in Texarkana...(10 youth, 6 Adults) did you see that 10 YOUTH! 3 weeks ago we started a youth group here at the church (this church has never had a youth group ever) we started with 4 youth and 2 youth leaders and me.... and they have been so excited about a focus group just for them that they have been telling there friends and the group is growing fast! I am so excited....could you imagine had someone taken the time years ago to invest in the youth here where it would be today.... ANyways last night was amazing ...God rocked there worlds... 2 of the girls rededicated there lives to the Lord and one of my girls was MINISTERING to some of the kids..(I was so proud of her) The scenes in the Hell House were very real and each kid said at least one of the scenes hit home to them... we had some awesome time of pouring into the kids and I look forward to weeks to come as we deal with Healing from the past and forgivness from God and forgiving ourselves... Please pray with me that the Holy Spirit will continue to soften there hearts and Speak to these kids! I have an amazing group of kids here so respectful and like little sponges!

Pumpkin Blessing

My baby 16 weeks old! He is getting so big!
When you were a kid did you have pumpkin patches that you went to pick out your pumpkins? I was so excited to take Malachi to a pumpkin Patch so I could take some pics of him and well come to find out there arent any pumpkin patches in Louisiana or Arkansas...what the Heck! My hubby said we go to walmart to get pumpkins.... so sad! So I drove around town and found a house that had this little fall display and knocked on the door and asked if she minded if I took my son pic by her scarecrow...she was so excited I asked her and let me kept saying she was so glad she put that out there even if it was just for me! I was so blessed! Plus she is a christian Lady with a small child in her 30's which is few and far between in my small town of 1200 people and 1000 of them I am sure are over 70...lol ... so I made me a friend in this hunt for a good pic! then I was so excited since Malachi doesnt sit up yet the scarecrow had a perfect lap and arm set up so he fit right in there perfectly! Praise God! see he even cares about the little things like a silly picture but it was a desire of my heart to have it so he made a way! God is so good! Hope you enjoy! Have a blessed day!

I seem to be a weekly blogger once a week...oh well very few read it anyway...:)lol thanks to thoes who do you make me feel special! I had so much fun on saturday..... Woke up super early from not sleeping the night before! lol I literally had to drag myself out of bed cause I knew Sandi was going to be at my door at 7:30 ....(do you ever have morninings like that) Anyway we went to Texarkana for the Race for the Cure... It was so amazing to see 1000's of people running this race and I am so glad she talked me into going and doing this! It was neat that on everyones back they had who they were running for in celebration of recovery and in memory of ... I enjoyed reading the names and lifting them up in prayer during the walk.... I had one of my best friends in High school Brenda who found out she had breast cancer while prgnant with her little girl .... Abigail is doing amazing and brenda starts her chemo back up this month... and my Aunt Wanda who had breast cancer when I was in high school and doing well...then 2 precious ladies in our church who are recovered Linda and Shirley.... and My Mother~n~law also had Breast cancer (so mom in memory of you, I wish you were still here with us but I know you watch over us from above) I took a few pics and one of them was a wiener dog in a pink polo I had to get a pic of him for crystal.... I know she would of loved him...

Then later on that after noon we went over to Sandi's house for a little while and they got the horses out and Malachi got to ride a horse for the first time! I had so much fun watching him and edward.... I got on lady the horse for a short time I was really nervous ...not sure why... it has been 20 yrs since I rode a horse...lol here are some pics from that!

Then that evening we went to a LSU tailgate party... that was alot of fun cause LSU won and the fellowship with Bobby and Brigette is awesome! They are the local Baptist pastors in town... my batteries were dead on my camera by this time so I didnt get in pics of Malachi in his LSU outfit...maybe next time!

WOW...
I have been so busy I didnt realise I hadnt posted anything in a week! Life has been crazy busy but all good stuff we are in the planning process of our fall festival at our church where we do a huge fun day for the kids in our community! I am so excited about this yrs fall festival! Does your church do something around this time for the kids?

Then I have started this new Home based Business that I am so so so so so so EXCITED about... From the day I found out I was preggo I was like I cant go back to work I really want to raise my kids and be a stay at home Mom but with finances and bills and such I knew unless God really blessed us that wasnt going to be an option. Then after Malachi was born my wonderful hubby was like we will make it work I want you home with him...(YAY!) but we were living paycheck to paycheck with no extra money...WELL NOT ANYMORE! I started last week with a company called Talk Fusion and it is amazing it is Leading the way to Video Emails and Technology and I am so excited to be working for them...Its fun and the money is GREAT! I am not going to have to go back to work and we will have a savings like never before in a short amount of time! Then on sat we went to friends house to watch the LSU vs FLordia game and we got killed! but the fellowship was so well needed! I like LSU cause my husband does but really I could careless...I just note that the first Game we actually got to see on TV with our son they lost.... I told Edward that was going in the baby book and he threatened to throw it away if I wrote it in there....lol sensitive! :) but the Saints won on Sun which puts me in total shock cause they cant beat anyone! lol I guess I enjoy it more than I think which is a good thing since I have a son now...lol my favorite is to root and cheer for who ever my hubby wants to lose.... it just makes watching the game so much more fun...lol (he gets so mad) I am so mean! lol OKay enough about football!

I also became the unofficial official Youth Pastor at our church... I didnt have a say in the matter my husband told me I was doing it! lol ...I dont mind at all I love working with kids and these teens we have here are seriously the most respectful teens on the planet! I cant wait for Youth Convention although it will be different with a baby on my hip....lol I have some of the best memories as a teen at youth convention .... Fun Times!

Ok I need to get off here for a while ...plus I am craving chocolate so bad I think I need to make brownies! yummy!

3 Months Already!!!!

My little prince is 3 moths old today...gosh Time flies! I am going to brag on how amazing he is for a few moments!

~ In the past 3 months he has proven to be the best baby ever....

** Only cries when something is wrong (hungry, tummy ache, tired)

** He is so full of Joy we tell him thats his ministry right now to bring Joy to people and he does a great Job!. He has adapted to life in full time ministry so well he goes on Hospital visits and home visitition with us and the minute he gets there the whole room is full of smiles!

** He would sleep through the night if I let him but I wake him up to nurse every 3 hours...

** He loves music ...the song service at church is his favorite he coos like he is singing the whole time then either passes out or cries when dad starts preaching....lol (Dad is a great preacher, Malachi just doesnt know it yet)

** He LOVES his bath time...we have so much fun spashing and singing!

** He LOVES to cuddle and we love that he loves that cause it is so special to us!

** He doesnt like the camera but will grow to love it cause I have it in his face 24/7 I want to capture everything!

** when we are out and around alot of people he lets us know when he is done or had to much...he will look at me or dad (who ever is holding him) and not take his eyes off ours and with no expression then as soon as we leave he perks right up and smiles and coos like he is thanking us for listening to him! lol its so cute!

** He gives the best slobbery kisses! thats good sugar! lol

** He loves tummy time on the floor with his toys and mommy.... but he gets frustrated when he gets up on his arms and gets one knee up and tries to get the other knee up and the one up falls out ...he wants to crawl so bad...lol

** He loves to be outside!

Okay I will stop for now! I am just so in love with him! I am so blessed and I thank God daily for him! He truly is my miracle and I am honored to be his mom! Happy 3mo birthday baby!

Marriage

Can I just say "hats off to all of you out there who have been married for more than 5yrs and are still inlove and going strong"

Marriage isnt easy all the time, but it is defintally something worth the effort and commitment to keep! My pastor use to say "Love isnt just a feeling it is a commitment that sometimes produces a feeling" that has always stuck with me you may not always feel but when you are commited to someone for life and you take your vows seriously cause you meant them then and you said them before God.... then you do what ever it takes to keep your marriage alive and healthy! (there is only one reason biblcally that divorce is even allowed and thats when one is unfaithful or commits adultry) I decided when I was a teenager and watched my parents drag us kids back and forth to court during thier divorce that DIVORCE was never going to be a opition for me I literally took it out of my vocabulary and never have, even in anger threatened or spoke the word! I have recently heard that several of my close friends have given up and are getting divorced this breaks my heart into a million pieces.... Guys the enemy is real just as real as Jesus and he will do anything to seperate what GOD has put together...... Dont let him! Keep God in the center of your marriage...there is a old saying "That a family that prays together stays together" I 100% believe that to be true! if we make room even a inch for the devil to come in and mess things up he will and when you give him an inch he takes a mile! Can I challenge you to do something for your spouse today.... remember what it was about him that you fell for.... why you fell in love with him.... and never let a day go by that you dont let him know you love him and appreciate him... one more thing never go to bed angry!

My husband and I have been married for 7 yrs and they have been wonderful...yes we have had rough times but through and prayer and commitment to each other we have made it through and I thank God for the Man of God I married and if given the oppritunity to do it over I would in a heart beat! I love you Baby!

As a woman who struggles with infertlity and wants a large family unless God intrivenes and I know he can we wont beable to cause of money not the money it takes to raise a child but the investment to "TRY" and get pregnant... I am so blessed and greatful for our miracle baby "Malachi" it took us 3 trys (artificial Insemination for conception to happen) and if it had not happend the 3rd try we were out of "Trying Money" I am praying and believeing God to heal my body so we can have kids naturally and only time will tell in the mean time I am taking in every day and enjoying to the fulliest every moment with our son!

Being that I am the oldest of 6 kids and all of us are so close I couldnt imagine being a only child i am so blessed by my brothers and sisters each one means something so special to me and God uses all of them in my life all the time! let me brag on them for a moment

Nicole ~28~ I love you so much! I hate the distance between us cause you truly are one of my best friends.... there isnt anything in the world I couldnt talk to you about you are one of the most non judgemental people I know. You have a heart of Gold and Nathan is blessed to have you as his mom! Growing up as kids we had so much fun together even though I couldnt play barbies cause you were so much more creative than me.... I think God knew I needed a sister close to my age to help me play and be a kid cause I was so mature and thought I was a adult... thanks for always bringing out the childlike in me! I miss you more than you will ever know! I love you so much!

Michael ~22~ I couldnt be more proud of the Man of God you have turned out to be my heart is truly over joyed when I think of where you were 3 yrs ago to where you are today! I thank God for the relationship he has allowed us to build. You are a lover by nature you love to love people to make them feel special and to leave no one left behind God has gifted you with compassion. You have a way with your words that after every conversation people walk away feeling like the most important person on the planet...Thank you for letting me pour into you! and thank you for pouring back into me! I love you so much!

Paul ~20~ where do I start you are like a boy version of me! I sometimes dont even have the words to tell you how much I love and appreciate our friendship and time together! you truly are a man after Gods own heart so real so guinune! I have the utmost respect for you! You are a born leader and people follow you because they want to not because they have to! You show Christ in everything you do and can truly say follow me as I follow Christ! Scripture says Iron sharpens Iron as one man sharpens another....I believe you and I live by this with each other! thank you for making me a better person by what you say to sharpen me! You challenge me in so many ways! I love you so much!

Sherese ~19~ You are a rare jewel! a precious stone in the sight of God! and a precious stone in my life you have the biggest heart out of all of us there isnt anything in the world you wouldnt do for anyone at any given moment! you have the sweetest spirit an have always been so hungry to know more about God! When I look at you I see Jesus! I Thank God for the relationship we have and that you have always been able to come to me... You have no idea how much that blesses me! I have always tried to be a open book to all of my siblings and you bless me with how open you are with me! God says he can use a willing heart and so I know you will be used mightly cause your so willing to do what ever God wants you to do! I love you so much!

Deanna ~14~ you are my fireball! I am sooooooo proud of the woman of God you are becomming.... you challenge the tar out of me with your boldness and zeal for God and at such a young age! I couldnt imagine Life with out you your excitment for Jesus and passion to save the world "everyone around you" is amazing and it is contageious... my relationship with you is more like mother daughter than sister sister...and I wouldnt change that for anything! I love that even though there is 16 yrs between us we talk like we are best friends! You bless me so much! I love you so much!

I literally have the best brothers and sisters n the world! I honestly couldnt imagine life with out each one of them! Mom I thank you for giving Life to each of us and letting us spread our wings! We are Blessed!

We have been tring all day to capture his toothless smile and finally we got him in action.... he is so precious to watch... I promise I can just watch him all day long I love the little faces he makes and he is just talking (cooing) up a storm! i normally have to trick him cause when he sees the camera he goes straight faced like the 2/3 pic on the page he is so funny! I have no joke taken over 600 pics of him in the last 3 months ...he is going to leqrn to love the camera or else...lol I cant believe he is 3 month old! time really flys!

Date night

My hubby and I had a date night this past weekend (with Malachi too) and we went and saw Fireproof...OMGosh such a awesome Movie... you have to go see it and take friends... I think I cried 5 or 6 times which is normal but Edward Cried too!!!!! which means it was a double whammy...lol he never cries at movies but said this one is worth crying over then 10 min later I asked him what parts made him cry and he said he just had something in his eye...WHATEVER! lol

Do you and your Hubby have date nights? how often?

Open Heaven

God is the most amazing thing ever! Have you ever been in a service when God shows up and everyone gets this AWE rememberance of how incrediable HE really is! I love being penticostal and that our services are spirit lead, I was raised baptist and (no offence if you are reading this and you are a baptist) but I was so bored... I thought to myself there has to be more to God and church than this... then I accidentally ended up in the Assemblies of God when I was a sophmore in high school and it radically changed my life ...totally unexpected totally GOD! I honestly wouldnt trade my relationship with my savior for anything! HE is my everything! I just feel so truly Blessed by God!

Have you ever had a friend or someone in your life that you know it was God and only God that this person and you are friends? thats Crystal to me.... How many of you can say you are good friends with a former Ex's spouse? D and I dated in Highschool and I seriously wouldnt of made it through thoes years with out him some of the toughest yrs of my life... I thank God for him! He is a all around great guy. But God knew we were headed in different directions and that we were suppose to be just friends .... when he and Crystal started dating I was so excited for them she was a great christian girl, fun loving, outgoing, and beautiful! they were a perfect match! we didnt start out buds but through time and distance and similar situations God used us in each other lives to encourage one another and as the years have gone by I can honestly say I have a real friendship with one of the sweetest people on the planet! I love her like my own sister and there isnt anything I wouldnt do for her! So when you see us say unexpected friend or God has a sence of humor ...it really was and he really does...but Im so greatful that our paths crossed and we were able to over look what the world would consider a wierd situation and develop a genuine friendship! I love you girl!

It has been along time since I have blogged... there was alot going on in my life and I thought I needed a break which turned into not blogging at all... "In the 7th year you will have a son and he will be a prophet" and then he prayed for us...well I went back to my seat and began to cry out to God I told him how much I wanted to believe this was true and how much I wanted to be a mom but this type of thing had happen before and only lead to tears...(misscarriage) So I told God do not let me get pregnant ever again if I cant carry to full term.... well this time there was something different I felt it to be true and I believed it was going to happen and prayed against my unbelief and doubt.... I started claiming the Word over my life and that night I was lying in bed and I was so excited that in 2007 we were going to have a baby boy...well the Lord spoke to me so clear and said No... in the seventh year of your marriage.... that meant we had to wait till 2008.... remind you this was Aug of 2006 ...so 2007 was the LONGEST year of my life! but faithfully as the prophet said in May of 2008 we celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary and in July of 2008...Malachi Jayce Jordan came into this world... this day was the happiest day of my life... I cant even describe the feeling when he was put into my arms all I kept thinking was is this real do I get to keep him is he really mine! So after mutiple misscarriages and infertility specialist and years of pain and hurt I was finally a MOM!
I will never forget what we went through to get here.... it was one of the toughest battles any couple can face and my heart goes out to couples dealing with infertillity know that you are in my prayers and I truly believe if it can happen for me it can happen for anyone! Dont lose hope keep believeing and trusting God and if this blog can be a hope to just one woman that it can and will happen then it was all worth while!

I come before you right now in the Name of Jesus and I pray for your arms to be wrapped around couples all across this world tonight that are suffering with infertillity.... I pray they would feel your presence and know you are GOD! I pray that you would make the impossiable POSSIABLE for them I pray you heal thier bodies remove cyst, open tubes, do endometrosis surgury, cause ovaries to function as they ought to, boost sperm count in husbands, i speak against unexplained infertillity right now... Lord I pray that you would make these bodies line up to the word of God and be healed in the name of your son Jesus.... God I pray for conception to happen for life to be started and for positive pregnancy test ... I pray you strengthen cervixes and i speak against chromozone problems in the name of Jesus... I pray that these wombs would be full and these wives would be able to join the 'Mommy club" God I pray you build faith and remove doubt and untill it happens you would bring peace and comfort as you do always! I pray for a abundunce of babies in empty arms! Lord I truly believe that you will fill these homes with children and I thank you in advance for life! God you are so amazing and so powerful and I know you want and will bless...so in your wonderful and loving name I pray....
